By downloading, installing, or using MetaVeils, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the software.

2. Service Description

MetaVeils is a macOS application that provides AI-powered sensitive data sanitization and comprehensive metadata analysis. The AI Sanitizer detects and redacts personal information, credit card numbers, and other confidential data from your files. The Metadata Analyzer allows you to view, edit, and strip metadata from various file formats.

3. License Grant

MetaVeils offers a free tier with basic features and a Pro license for advanced AI sanitization and metadata analysis capabilities. Upon purchasing a license, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software on your personal devices.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the software.
  • Use the software for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to extract or copy the AI models included in the software.

5. AI-Powered Features

The AI Sanitizer uses machine learning to detect sensitive content. While we strive for accuracy, the AI detection is provided as a tool to assist you and may not identify all sensitive information. You are responsible for reviewing the results and ensuring adequate protection of your data before sharing files.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that all sensitive data will be detected by the AI Sanitizer. Use of the software is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MetaVeils or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the software, including but not limited to damages arising from undetected sensitive data.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
